Man City vs. Fulham live score: Erling Haaland comes on for 10-man City

Manchester City is attempting to take over first position in the Premier League league, but they must first defeat Fulham on Saturday.

They are currently level 1-1 in the second half of their match at the Etihad, with the Citizens down to ten men.

City were in command from the outset, even with Erling Haaland on the bench, and took the lead through Haaland's replacement, Julian Alvarez.

However, the game was flipped on its head in the 26th minute when City's Joao Cancelo was sent off and Fulham were awarded a penalty.

Cancelo shouldered Fulham winger Harry Wilson in the box after a long pass into the City half squirted into his path. Referee Darren England had no reservations.

Andreas Pereira, Fulham's attacking midfielder, converted the penalty to tie the game at 1-1.

Man City remain the favourites to win, with Haaland going on with 25 minutes remaining. With 15 minutes remaining, the huge Norwegian attempted to score, but it was called off after the VAR saw Haaland offside.

Fulham are missing star forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is sidelined with an ankle injury.

Carlos Vinicius took his spot at the head of the Cottagers' assault as the visitors want to improve on their seventh-place finish.
